As the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge continued with their tour of the Solomon Islands they were splashed across television screens around the world wearing her beautiful handcrafted designs.

What a whirlwind week it’s been! We’re running a bit late this week because our editor has been in Samoa covering the Teuila festival for Tagata Pasifika and got the chance to speak to Raggamuffin stars Swiss, Savage and Spawnbreezie!

Besides listening to the lush tropical sounds of Island reggae beats, our teams picked our other favs of this week including some hot training gear, the latest colour this season plus a yummy treat balanced with a healthy one!

We are just in looove with the design of a pretty little white dress made by Kapi Fonua who’s a mega sweetheart. Not only did it win a major fashion challenge in NZ – it’s made entirely of toilet paper.

Also we celebrate Alicia Keys’ comeback, but also a MAC lipstick created for Azealia Banks – seriously how cool is she that even Kanye wants a piece of her.

Kapi Fonua’s Kleenex Cottonelle paper dress, with an exquisite pohutukawa-inspired lace bodice and asymmetric hemline of floral flounce, has just WON the title of New Zealand’s favourite little-white-paper-dress.

In the full glare of lights, lenses and lip gloss, Kapi Fonua just 19 years old of Auckland will sit in the front row and see his dress lead the three Paper Dresses onto the runway in Shed 2 at the Viaduct Events Centre this evening.

Have a closer look – his dress is made entirely of toilet paper! Beautiful work!
